Fred has represented parties to mediations and also been a party to mediations. In addition, he has served as a neutral mediator in a number of mediations where settlements were concluded including, most notably, in disputes involving:
- Electricity supply and delivery under the New York State Community Solar Aggregation program for a number of municipalities in the Hudson Valley (court appointed)
- Indemnification provisions in the allocation of liabilities following the spin-off of the natural gas division of a major energy company.
He has completed the American Arbitration Association’s training programs on Essential Skills for the New Mediator (2014) and on Using Dearly Dispute Resolution to Resolve Disputes Economically and Fairly (2022).
He also successfully undertook in 2019 the Advanced Mediation Skills Training program of the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR) / Center for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and now has the status of CEDR Accredited Mediator. |
